Serves 1-2 people
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond milk or any other nut milk
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 apple, cored, peeled and grated
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
- 2 tsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp natural sweetener or honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Fresh berries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
- 1/2 sliced banana
- 1 tbs pepitas (pumpkin seeds) or sliced almonds
Directions:
- Place the oats, flaxseeds, almond milk and water in a bowl, covered in the fridge and leave overnight.
- Before serving, grate the apple and stir it through the oats.
- Spoon into bowls, and top with honey, or sweetener, fresh berries, cinnamon, sliced bananas, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.
