When Elise was travelling in Sydney, she met some lovely friends from Sweden. Fanny, explained how to make no-fail - 7 minute soft boiled eggs...perfect every time. If you're using extra large eggs, you may want to add another minute or two.
The secret is to have the water boiling first.
Gently put the egg(s) on a spoon and place them in the water.
Keep the eggs boiling, on medium-low for 7 - 9 minutes.
Run them under cold water while removing the shell.
Slice the eggs in half and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
Perfect - every time if you like them as shown.
You can increase or decrease the cooking time.
The egg whites are very tender and the yolks are
a beautiful bright yellow.
